LOCAL DEVELOPMENTS · OCTOBER 21, 2026
A new overnight destination is on the horizon at the northern gateway to Frazier-Tejon. Hard Rock Casino Tejon now advertises its hotel expansion for summer 2028, bringing plans for accommodation, dining, relaxation and larger events together in one project.
Summer 2028
Hard Rock’s advertised target — not a guaranteed opening date. The planned hotel is not open now.
What Hard Rock has announced
The official project page lists 406 guest rooms and 119 suites, plus 900 additional slot machines. It does not clearly say whether the suite count is included in the room figure, so we are not combining those numbers. Planned additions include Council Oak Steak & Seafood, Center Bar and two more Marketplace dining options; resort-style pools with cabanas and daybeds; Rock Spa; and flexible convention and entertainment space.
The date to watch
Summer 2028 is Hard Rock’s advertised target, not a guaranteed opening date. The project page does not yet provide an exact opening day or reservation details. The planned hotel is not open now.
Why it matters locally
For residents and visitors, the interesting shift is from a day-trip stop toward an overnight destination. More accommodation and event space could give people new reasons to combine a visit with nearby shopping, mountain communities and outdoor recreation. Those are possibilities, not promises about bookings, jobs or local economic results.
