Frazier Park Turns 100
A Centennial Celebration in the Heart of the Mountains


On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the community of Frazier Park will come together for a once-in-a-century celebration—the 100th birthday of Frazier Park, hosted by the Mountain Communities Chamber of Commerce. This free event, open to all, will take place from 4:00 PM to 10:30 PM at the local park and promises an unforgettable evening of history, entertainment, and community spirit.
A Celebration of Mountain Life
Frazier Park's centennial celebration kicks off with a Mountain Blessing at 4:00 PM, followed by a Historical Presentation at 4:15 PM and a warm welcome from Supervisor David Couch Parlier at 4:30 PM. This reflective opening honors the area’s rich heritage, its pioneering roots, and the diverse community that calls these mountains home.
Entertainment for All Ages
Family-friendly festivities fill the park throughout the evening:
Face Painting & Classic Car Show – 4:45 PM
Adopt a Pet with Shelter on the Hill – 5:00 PM
Petting Zoo – 5:30 PM
Sock Hop Dance – 6:30 PM
Dance Contest – 7:30 PM
Hot Air Balloon Rides (weather permitting) – 7:00 PM
Movie in the Park featuring Cars – 8:30 PM
Plus, appearances from beloved local organizations including the Ridge Route Museum, Kern County Sheriff and Fire, CHP, Haul Ambulance, and Hungry Valley SVRA.
Community & Comfort
From 4:00 to 7:00 PM, attendees can enjoy free hot dogs, chips, and water—a nod to classic summer gatherings. When the outdoor movie starts, free popcorn will be served to round out a perfect evening under the stars.
